The mission of the Center for Talent Innovation is three-fold: to drive ground-breaking research that leverages talent across the divides of gender, generation, geography and culture; to create a community of senior executives united by an understanding that full utilization of the global talent pool is at the heart of competitive success; and to provide cutting edge design consulting to construct “next practices” which are “second-generational” and make the connection between diversity and winning in the market.

Our research and action on the ground has garnered significant attention (12 Harvard Business Review studies and numerous articles in the Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, Strategy & Business, Huffington Post, etc.) which allows Task Force members to be branded as “thought leaders” in global talent management. The Task Force is comprised of more than 70 global corporations and organizations representing 4 million employees in 190 countries.

Carolyn Buck Luce is a co-founder of the Task Force on Talent Innovation, a Board Member of CTI and the Executive in Residence. Dr. Sylvia Ann Hewlett is the CEO and founder of the Center for Talent Innovation. She is the author of ten Harvard Business Review articles and ten critically acclaimed nonfiction books including When the Bough Breaks (Basic Books, winner of a Robert F.
